beautiful new location...but needs to work on service...that centre island is very confusing...I want to be served by the same person from start to finish not tossed around from clerk to clerk...
all in all fresh..beautiful new spot..but work on service...and have the proscuitto's ready so time isnt killed opening a new one when a customer comes!
thanks and good luck!
Same poor service....same rude staff
best coffee, excellent service by the coffee ladies!
This bakery has the worst customer service, and the owner/mgr should be taken out back and beaten with a stick, he is so rude! We ordered $14.00 worth of pastries and a latte and green tea, the drinks came in the smallest glass, couldnt have been more than 3/4 ounces, then when we asked for some additional hot water for the tea they said our policy is to not to give additional hot water! we would have to pay for another tea. I have never heard for charging for water. Then when asked to speak with the mgr they said if we wanted to talk to him we should go speak to him (all while he's sitting drinking coffee with 6 other men). We won't be back!!
very good service ,great food and gelato that taste out of this world .And I notice why they charge the extra charge for hot water people bring there own
tea bag and sit for hours ,so how's the guy to make a living,
gelato the best ever tasted
best veal on bun and the best gelato ,great staff always go back nino's on yonge st. keep up great service.

I am a regular customer @ this location and they do have great customer service,
Not the Daversa I remember growing up as a kid. They have lost the great heritage I once remember. The food I had was mediocre and the bread was not as authentic as I used to have.
bread not as good as original but still good and good hot table. also I hear that it not owned by D'aversa family different owner. i also notice manager not only sit with men but also sit with woman and good looking one to
not as good as toro road. service okay
it was not to long ago as i walked in to Nino Daversa. I was hungry for a veal panino and ordered it. the service was prompt, the friendliness was there and a beautiful environment was surrounding me. the wait staff were friendly and multiple methods of payment were available. I enjoyed my afternoon eating there, having a conversation with some friends, and it was excellent. I would go back in a heart beat, and definitely go back. Two thumbs up!
Great food. Is this last comment for real. Sounds like the owner wrote it!
My spouse and I had been regular customers since the Thornhill location opened, but the attitude has only gotten worse behind the counter over the years. Despite that, we went for our favourite, tiramisu, but that hasn't been as good as in years past either. Still we go, but no more. Tonight we were served sour, dry, stale and hard tiramisu that tasted more like spoiled cheesecake than the light, moist, creamy dessert we were used to. When I took it to the counter to return it, I wasn't apologized to. I was told "You're the first one to complain all day." Not once, but twice, rudely. I'm not going back there again. And I wouldn't send anyone there as I had done many times in past. Instead, I would warn people to stay away, very far away.
Nice pastry. I meet nice man Saverio. I think he owner of this place.
My friends and I really enjoyed our lunch- the atmosphere is very friendly - great staff - fabulous food - am taking my husband to lunch there today
We use to be regulars at the Aurora location and now will not recommend or return. It does not compare to the original location which has the great food and service. The Aurora location is basically run by young people who do not believe in customer service . They stand around talk to each other and our experience last night was a waiter dropped the f-bomb to a co-worker right beside our table by our young kids. When we spoke to a young manager he laughed and without apology said oh that is not good . It certainly wasn't our service was terrible , or order was wrong and the unpleasant words made this a terrible experience. We will not return as the have good pizza we keep returning to terrible slow and inappropriate language.
On Monday Jan 23rd/12 i left my purse behind on the back of a chair. I would like to commend two of your employees for forouz, the lady who having found my purse at the table and turning it in to the lady on cash, Alessandra, who kept it in her good care till I came to pick it up with nothing missing. The consequences of someone dishonest finding it could have been catastophic, these two honest ladies restores my faith in humanity.
Much appreciation to your establishment and two trustworthy employees.
The Aurora location lacks in customer service. The Manager, young man, needs to take a course on customer service. Since the bakery opened it has been going down. Personal l now go to LONGO'S. They are very friendly in all the departments. Nino D'Aversa employees should take a walk around Longs and learn what customer service is all about!!!
I bought 3 brownies there which were completely stale, they did not even taste like chocolate anymore. NEVER AGAIN!
Food is cold and salad is not fresh .
We were there on Friday 16 .
Not too impressed with the restaurant .
Very poor service! The cashier at the Thornhill location is not only rude but also dumb!
June 21st, 2013, We are 'regulars' and love Nina's. We have never had pastries that were not fresh and delicious. The coffees are great, the staff is welcoming Their pasta and salads are our favorites. The place is full most of the time. The atmosphere there is like
Really Good pizza and best Gelato in GTA
